COMPANY PROFILE

Founded in 1996, Mr. Piet Lemmer started working in conjunction with an international renowned seismological company that started operating in South Africa in the North West Province.

Mr. Piet Lemmer opened a Close Cooperation called Aquela Contracts CC. A closed cooperation that opened its doors officially in 2000 and thereby giving support services to Seismic Companies.

As the exploration market grew in South Africa and the Seismic Companies secured more contracts Aquela Contractors expanded its services thus also giving support to other companies, different mining houses and to the public.

In 2006 the 6 th year of Aquela Contractors CC existence the company excessively and positively excelled increasing its workforce ten folds over, by incorporating and hiring of local communities.

To “Proudly Serving Our Clients” our mission is to serve our clients with honesty and integrity and to give the client up to date information on the proceedings of our service, thus ensuring the client is always up to date with proceedings and thus ensuring client satisfaction.

 

HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

Another important factor that coincides with Aquela Contractors CC is that we understand the nature of our work has to be safe, practical and little impact on the environment.

Therefore we have a H.S.E department that looks after this aspect and that monitors personal very closely, their working behavior, conditions and the environment.

All staff is trained in safety procedures, driving courses, equipment and machinery, management, first’s aid and radio communication. Aquela Contractors CC is also registered at the work mans compensation fund and can provide a letter of good standing.
